About this course

Digital business analytics is concerned with how organisations use data to understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what to do next. It combines the tools and methods of data science, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualisation, with the business intelligence needed to translate analytical findings into decisions that create value. As organisations of every kind generate and depend on increasing volumes of data, the ability to work rigorously with that data and communicate its implications clearly has become one of the most sought-after graduate competencies there is.

At Brunel University London, this programme serves as a gateway to a fast-growing field, equipping you with both the technical foundations and the business context needed to work effectively as an analyst. You will study quantitative methods, database management, business intelligence tools, and the principles of digital strategy and e-commerce, developing the capacity to work with large datasets and to present your findings in ways that inform real decisions.
