About this course

The BSc Dental Hygiene and Therapy is a three year, full time professional degree that trains you to become both a Dental Hygienist and a Dental Therapist. The programme has been provisionally accepted by the General Dental Council (GDC). The GDC undertake final programme approval during an inspection in the final year of study.

This course is now closed for applications for October 2026 entry. Applications are open for October 2027 entry in September. The BSc Dental Hygiene and Therapy is a three year, full time professional degree that trains you to become both a Dental Hygienist and a Dental Therapist.
