Criminology with Criminal Law

Crime is not simply an act; it is a social, legal, and political concept whose meaning shifts depending on who defines it, who enforces the rules, and who is affected by the consequences. Criminology examines these questions from a social science perspective, drawing on sociology, psychology, history, and policy studies to understand why people offend, how institutions respond, and what the effects of punishment actually are.
