About this course

Computing with Artificial Intelligence and Robotics combines the foundational principles of computer science with the algorithms, systems and engineering knowledge that drive intelligent and autonomous machines. Artificial intelligence seeks to create systems that can perceive, reason, learn and act, while robotics applies those capabilities to physical machines that interact with the real world. Together they address some of the most technically challenging and practically significant problems in computer science, and the demand for practitioners who can work across both domains is growing rapidly across industry, healthcare, logistics, defence and manufacturing.

At the University of Buckingham this three-year full-time degree develops your professional and technical skills in creating autonomous systems, covering the algorithmic foundations of AI alongside the hardware, software and control systems knowledge needed to build and deploy robotic systems.
