About this course

Computing and business is a combination that equips you to operate at the intersection of technology and organisational strategy, developing both the technical capabilities that computing demands and the management thinking that enables those capabilities to be deployed effectively. Computing covers the principles and practice of software development, data management, systems analysis and digital technologies. Business provides the frameworks for understanding strategy, operations, marketing, finance and how organisations make decisions and create value.

Together, they prepare you for roles that increasingly require professionals who can speak both languages fluently.

At Roehampton University, this three-year programme develops your skills in automation, data analytics and innovation practices alongside entrepreneurial thinking and ethical decision-making. You will develop technical computing competencies alongside business knowledge, learning how to apply digital tools and data-driven approaches to strategic and operational challenges in organisations. A sandwich placement year provides substantial professional experience, and a year abroad adds international perspective.
