About this course

This course provides a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of computer science and, in later years of study, the opportunity to specialise in a range of advanced topics. We review our curriculum constantly to ensure it remains at the leading edge of digital technology and accommodates the current demands of industry. Core ideas are introduced in years one and two in order to provide you with a solid foundation upon which to build.

In your final two years of study, you will choose from a range of optional units in order to specialise in selected advanced areas of computer science. In year three you will undertake another significant team project, focused on the development of a complex interactive application.
