Artificial intelligence is no longer a niche research field: it is reshaping industries from healthcare and finance to transport and education, and the demand for people who understand both its technical foundations and its practical applications is growing faster than supply. Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence gives you the rigorous grounding in computing that underpins all software development, alongside the specialised knowledge of AI methods that employers across many sectors are actively seeking.

At the University of Hull this four-year full-time programme includes an industrial placement, giving you direct exposure to AI and computing roles in a professional setting before you graduate. The placement is a significant advantage in a competitive graduate market, giving you the chance to apply your academic learning in real settings, build professional contacts and test which directions suit you best.
