About this course
Civil engineers help to create the structures and systems that sustain society. They are responsible for designing, building and maintaining everything from bridges to power stations. You’ll gain specialist knowledge in a wide range of areas from site surveying to structural analysis and design to fluid technology and coastal engineering.
Successful completion of this course may lead to membership of professional bodies such as the Institution of Civil Engineers. This course is rooted in real-world practice, where you will interpret civil engineering problems, design and construct solutions and put them to the test!
