Business economics is the application of economic analysis to the decisions and environments that businesses actually face. Where pure economics asks broad questions about markets and welfare, business economics brings that analytical toolkit to bear directly on resource allocation within firms, competitive strategy, pricing, investment, organisational design, and the regulatory and market conditions that shape commercial outcomes. The four-year full-time Business Economics programme at the University of Glasgow takes a real-world orientation, building on case studies and current research to equip you with the analytical tools and strategic insights needed to navigate complex, changing economic landscapes.
