Business and Human Resource Management

Business and Human Resource Management is a degree that addresses one of the central realities of organisational life: that the performance of any enterprise depends ultimately on the people within it. At the University of Northumbria at Newcastle this three-year full-time BA develops your capabilities to work at a strategic level with people-related challenges. You will study core business functions alongside dedicated HR content covering areas such as recruitment, learning and development, employee relations, employment law, reward management and organisational behaviour. The degree includes a sandwich year, giving you the opportunity to develop real professional experience before your final year, as well as a year abroad option and work placement opportunities embedded in the programme structure.
