Biomedical Science

Biomedical science is the laboratory-based discipline that underpins the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of disease in clinical settings. Biomedical scientists work in hospital laboratories and other healthcare environments, analysing blood, tissue, urine, and other samples to provide the data that clinicians use to make diagnoses, monitor treatment responses, and assess patient health. At the University of Hull, this three-year full-time programme gives you a deep understanding of the human form and function in health and disease through supported, laboratory-based learning.
