Aviation and Airport Management

Aviation and airport management is a specialised discipline that prepares you for leadership and operational roles in one of the world's most complex and logistically demanding industries. The global aviation sector encompasses airlines, airports, air traffic control, ground handling, regulatory bodies, and a vast supply chain of related services. Managing within it requires an understanding of aviation operations, safety and security regulation, commercial strategy, and the logistical challenges of moving millions of passengers and tonnes of cargo efficiently and safely.

At the University of Bedfordshire, this four-year full-time programme includes an integrated foundation year and develops your understanding of how the aviation and airport industry operates from the inside. You will study airport operations, airline management, aviation safety and security, international aviation law, commercial strategy, and the sustainability challenges facing the sector.
