About this course

Pharmaceutical science is the discipline that bridges the gap between chemistry, biology, and medicine to develop the medicines that modern healthcare depends on. At Lincoln this five-year full-time degree begins with a science foundation year providing a supported entry route for students who need additional preparation in the underlying sciences before progressing to the main degree. As you move through the programme you will study drug discovery, formulation, clinical trials, pharmacokinetics, and the regulatory frameworks that govern the development and approval of medicines.
