About this course

Aircraft engineering is the technical discipline concerned with the maintenance, repair, overhaul, and inspection of aircraft and their systems. It encompasses the understanding of airframe structures, aircraft engines, avionics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and the regulatory frameworks that govern aviation safety. At the University of the Highlands and Islands, this part-time programme develops your understanding of aircraft systems and the engineering principles that underpin them.
