About this course

Aerospace technology focuses on the practical engineering knowledge and applied skills needed to work within the aerospace industry, covering the design, manufacture, operation, and maintenance of aircraft and the systems within them. Where aerospace engineering tends toward analysis and design, aerospace technology programmes emphasise hands-on competence with contemporary tools and industry-standard practices, preparing graduates to contribute effectively in the technical roles that keep aircraft flying safely and efficiently.

This three-year, full-time programme at Coventry develops core aerospace engineering knowledge through a combination of academic study and practical engagement with contemporary facilities. You will study aerodynamics, structures, propulsion systems, avionics, aircraft maintenance, and manufacturing processes, developing an integrated understanding of how these technical domains come together in real aerospace systems.
