About this course

Aerospace engineering sits at the edge of what is technically possible, designing and building the aircraft, spacecraft, and systems that operate in some of the most demanding environments on earth and beyond it. The field spans aerodynamics and fluid mechanics, structural analysis, propulsion, avionics, and the complex systems that hold all of these together in aircraft and spacecraft that must perform reliably over long periods. It is a discipline that demands both deep technical knowledge and the ability to integrate insights from multiple engineering specialisms.

At City St George's, University of London this three-year full-time degree prepares you with skills in the design, construction, analysis, and testing of aerospace systems. You will study the fundamental engineering sciences that underpin the field, including fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, structural mechanics, and control systems, before applying them to aerospace problems.
