At Liverpool Hope this three-year full-time degree gives you rigorous training in acting for stage and screen alongside the study of English language as a discipline. You will develop your craft through studio work, performance, voice and movement training, and the study of dramatic texts and acting methodologies. Alongside this practical foundation you will engage with linguistics and language study, examining the structure, use, and social functions of language in ways that deepen your understanding of how communication works and how skilled performers harness it.

The programme includes a sandwich year, a year abroad, and work placement opportunities, all of which develop your professional experience and international perspective.
