About this course

The BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science (including Foundation Year) is a four-year degree. You’ll gain the practical skills and knowledge needed to work in labs and hospitals across the NHS and private sector. If you don’t yet meet the entry requirements for the three-year version , starting the course with a Foundation Year gives you a supported step up to university study. The BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science (including Foundation Year) gives you key knowledge and modern strategies to diagnose and treat the human immune system, pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria, haematology and blood transfusion, cell pathology and mechanisms or neurological diseases.
